: The Kerala Water Authority has allotted Rs.1.34 crore for various works on the main pipeline in Jagathy to ensure proper functioning of the sewerage pipelines to the regions of Edapazhanji, Chadiyara and Poojappura. K. Muraleedharan, MLA, said the sewerage project was being carried out in a time-bound manner on a special order of Chief Minister Oommen Chandy. The funds will be used for the construction of manholes, the main pipeline from Killi River to Jagathy, and renovation of the culvert, Mr. Muraleedharan said in a press release here on Friday.
