The Rotary Foundation will undertake various community service projects worth Rs.3 crore in the Rotary district in the current year. The major activities for this year are free surgeries for heart ailments and cleft limb for children, assistance to institutions for mentally challenged children, sewing machines for women and dialysis units for rural hospitals. This was announced by B Jayarajan, District Governor – RI District 3201.

Past district governor N. R. Gajendran (Sri Lanka) delivered the keynote address.  Seminar chairman P. V. Nath said that over 250 delegates from Kerala and Tamil Nadu participated in the deliberations.
