KOTTAYAM: The police have decided to put curbs on the use of ‘Press’ stickers on vehicles.

Kottayam District Superintendent of Police, Mathew Policarp , in a pressnote said it had come to their notice that vehicles, with such stickers, were being exploited by miscreants.

Hence forth, only journalists could use the ‘Press’ stickers and that too, only those issued by the Kerala Union of Working Journalists (KUWJ). Vehicles owned by media organisations should use stickers that show the identity of the respective organisation.
