Applications have been invited from postgraduates in engineering sciences for ‘CERD Ph.D. research fellowships' for pursuing full-time research in the Government Engineering Colleges of Kerala.

The selection will be based on an aptitude test and interview. Fellowship is awarded for three years and the amount will be Rs.14,000 a month for the first year. An annual contingency grant of Rs.20,000 will also be given. Five fellowships will be awarded this year.

The selected candidate must register for a Ph.D. programme in one of the universities in the State, latest by the next admission time (in any case not later than one year after the award of fellowship), and carry out research work.
