The government has reinstated S. Jagadappan Nair as Vigilance Tribunal, Thiruvananthapuram. He was under suspension following a Vigilance inquiry launched into a complaint against him and the full additional charge was being held by P. Suresh, Vigilance Tribunal, Kozhikode. The order reinstating him with immediate effect said that it was being done without prejudice to the further proceedings pursuant to the Vigilance inquiry report.

It added that the orders with regard to the regularisation of his suspension period would be issued separately after finalising the proceedings pending against him. – Special Correspondent
