Registrations are on for guidance programme

Registrations are continuing for the pre-counselling guidance programmes The Hindu-EducationPlus is conducting in Kochi on May 10 for the benefit of students seeking admission to courses in various professional streams after their Plus Two.

Participation is free for the event, which is being conducted at Gokulam Convention Centre, Kaloor. Registrations are on a first-come-first-served basis.

B.S. Warrier, an education expert, will present an overview of the professional courses at the session, where A. Jayaprakash Gandhi, education and career guidance expert based in Tamil Nadu, will speak on career planning. A senior official from the Commissionerate for Entrance Examinations will focus on the online seat allotment process. Placement training and career guidance experts from will discuss the matrix for exercising engineering college and course options. These experts will also take part in an interactive session, where students can seek information and get their doubts clarified.
