Registration is continuing apace for the pre-counselling guidance programmes The Hindu-EducationPlus is conducting in Thiruvananthapuram on May 18 for the benefit of students seeking admission to courses in various professional streams after their Plus-Two.

Participation is free for the event, which is being conducted at the auditorium of the Government College for Women. Registrations are on a first-come-first-served basis. B. S. Warrier, education expert and career guru, will present an overview of professional courses at the session.

A senior official from the office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations will focus on the online seat allotment process. Placement training and career guidance experts from will discuss the matrix for exercising engineering college and course options. These experts will also take part in an interactive session, where students can seek information and get their doubts clarified.
