Kozhikode: The Kozhikode division of the Life Insurance Corporation had sold more than 50,000 `Bima Gold' policies and targeted one lakh more customers during the fiscal ending March 2006.

With this, the division emerged as the first in southern part of the country, recording such a huge business, Senior Divisional Manager P. Muraleedharan claimed in a release. He said the division had achieved this record in four months after the introduction of the `money-back' scheme in September 2005 at a very small premium. - UNI
