PALAKKAD: Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president Ramesh Chennithala has welcomed the credit policy announced by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Tuesday.

Talking to mediapersons here on Tuesday, Mr. Chennithala said while the Central government had taken various measures to control the price spiral, the State government had done nothing in this regard.

The State witnessed such unprecedented price rise because of lack of co-ordination among the Ministers of various departments.

The KPCC president said that the Congress would organise a dharna on May 3 at all panchayats against the failure of the State government to effectively intervene to control the price rise.
