Rare acrobatics by Uzbek artistes, African limbo dance and breath-taking brick dance will be some of the attractions of the Gemini Circus that will begin in the city on Friday, the circus management said during a press meet here on Wednesday.

The circus, with more than 100 male and female artistes working with it currently, has set up its tent at the Swapnanagari Grounds on the Mini Bypass road here. “An incredible segment of weight lifting, roller acrobatics and fire eating are some of the other attractions of the show,” said circus coordinator Sreehari Nair.

Usual items such as motor cycle acrobatics inside a globe, Russian acrobatics, comic juggling, parade, comedy chair acrobatics, gymnastic act on Russian rope, and flying trapeze would also be featured in the show. Among the items involving animals would be a see-saw of Brazilian and Australian birds and elephant playing different games, said Mr. Nair.
