Railways will run additional Onam special trains between Nagercoil and Mangalore Junctions to clear the rush of passengers during the festival season.
A press release here on Thursday said train no. 06306 Nagercoil-Mangalore Junction special train would leave Nagercoil at 21:05 hours on September 13 and arrive at Mangalore Junction at12:30 hours the next day. In the return direction, the train (06305) will leave Mangalore Junction at 13:35 hours on September 14 and arrive at Nagercoil at 04:45 hours the next day. The trains will have one AC three-tier, six second class chair car, six general second class, and two luggage-cum-brake van coaches.
The trains will stop at Eraniel, Kulitturai, Neyyattinkara, Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Kayamkulam, Mavelikara, Chengannur, Thiruvalla, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Aluva, Thrissur, Shoranur Junction, Kuttippuram, Tirur, Kozhikode, Vadakara, Thalassery, Kannur, Payyannur, Kanhangad, and Kasaragod.
