A 50-member team from the Rapid Action Force's 105 Battalion, based in Coimbatore, visited the Kadavanthra Janamaithri police station on Sunday.

Led by Assistant Commandant S. Geetamma, they will visit all the 14 districts in the State and interact with the police. They will also take up cleaning activities at hospitals and places of worship. Sub-Inspector of Kadavanthra A. Ananthalal described the functioning of the Janamaithri police station and the community policing scheme. The RAF team was impressed at the functioning of police stations in Ernakulam, Mr. Ananthalal said.
