Revenue Minister Adoor Prakash has said that five lakh-odd complaints pending with the department will be dealt with in a time-bound manner. At least 75 per cent of the complaints will be solved by the end of November, giving priority to complaints that are more than five years old.

He told reporters on Saturday that district-level adalats would be held in his presence from January 2013 to receive complaints from the public. February 24 would be observed as Revenue Day and officials in the department who excelled in their work would be awarded on the occasion. The first phase of land distribution to landless people would be completed by August 15.
