The Kerala Hindu Pulaya Samajom on Sunday staged a day-long protest at the venue of the indefinite satyagraha against the controversial airport project at Aranmula.

As many as 400 farm workers, including women, under the aegis of the Samajom took out a march to the satyagraha venue.

Addressing the action council workers, Samajom vice-president P.K. Karunakaran extended solidarity with the ongoing apolitical agitation against the project.

He said no corporate force would be permitted to usurp the land belonging to Scheduled Caste families at Aranmula.
