Workers of the Indian Muslim Cultural Centre (IMCC) affiliated to the Indian National League (INL) staged a dharna in front of the Air India office here on Thursday demanding rolling back of airfares.

The protestors said Air India was being cruel to the expatriates by frequently increasing the fares and cancelling the flight schedules without any notice. They warned of launching mass protests.

U.C. Mammootty, State vice-president of INL, inaugurated the dharna. IMCC leaders Hamsa Orkkattery and M.A. Latheef spoke.
