The sweet voices of K.S. Chithra, Sujatha, Minmini, Arundhathi and Binny Krishnakumar, all successful playback singers, were first noticed at the light music contests for girls at the various editions of the State School Art Festival.

The 2013 edition of the contest at the Rose Lounge Auditorium here on Saturday afternoon proved that those illustrious names would have worthy successors, as participants of light music in HSS girls’ category mesmerised the packed audience with their dulcet voices and exceptional singing.
