KALPETTA: Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) State general secretary P.K. Kunhalikutty said here on Wednesday that the United Democratic Front (UDF) would face the next Assembly election with a manifesto of a definite view on the comprehensive progress of the State.

Addressing mediapersons here, Mr. Kunhalikutty said prime importance would be given to the educational sector and overall progress of the State. He alleged that the Left Democratic Front (LDF) government and the Communist Party of India (MArxist) were trying to capture power in the next local body elections by engaging in unlawful activities like delimiting wards in favour of the Left front. Ths is highly deplorable, he said.

Syed Hyderali Shihab Thangal, State president of the Indian Union Muslim League, also attended the function.
