KOZHIKODE: National Institute of Technology, Calicut (NIT-C) director G.R.C. Reddy inaugurated a one-day workshop on Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and project documentation organised by the Technology Business Incubator (TBI) of NIT-C in association with the Calicut Forum for IT (CAFIT) here on Saturday.

Dr. Reddy said that the country’s software industry should concentrate more on product development. The programme focused on the best practices in the implementation of software projects. The CAFIT is an organisation of IT Companies of Calicut, which is making efforts to make Calicut the next IT destination of Kerala. CAFIT president Duleep Sahadevan emphasised the need for delivering better products for which the companies have to invest in better talent, processes and systems.
