PATHANAMTHITTA: The Kerala State Pollution Control Board Employees Association will stage a dharna in front of the Pollution Control Board office in Thiruvananthapuram on March 9 in protesting against the alleged corruption in the Board.

Association president M.P. Trideepkumar, in a statement issued here on Wednesday, said the association members would also take an oath to fight corruption and nepotism plaguing the Board.

He alleged that the Board authorities were abetting certain companies that had been polluting the environment.

He urged the government to take immediate steps to rectify the flaws in the functioning of the Board and end corruption.
