KOCHI: The city police held an interactive meeting with heads of major industries and companies working at Infopark to review the security arrangements in these places.

Twenty-three persons attended the meeting held at the Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute hall here on Tuesday.

This step comes in the wake of the recent terrorist attack at the Indian Institute of Sciences, Bangalore.

Along with reviewing the existing security arrangements, the heads of these institutions have been asked to sensitise the security personnel to the present situation, said P. Vijayan, City Police Commissioner.

The meeting was held as part of a process of sharing intelligence and bringing about a better coordination between the police and security personnel in these institutions.
