: The Kozhikode-based Passengers Welfare Association has urged the Indian Railways to ensure the safety of women passengers and to relocate the ladies compartments to the middle portion of trains. In a press release, the Association said the Railways had the responsibility to ensure the safety of passengers. It requested Union Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee to take stringent action in order to prevent criminal activities on board trains. — Staff Reporter
