: The Kerala Private College Ministerial Staff Federation (KPCMSF) has urged the State government to implement the recommendations of the higher education sub-committee that was appointed to study the quality issues of various colleges and the problems of working staff.

In a statement issued here on Thursday, association leaders K.C. Sebastian and Vengad Salim hailed the decision of the Higher Education Department to support the 30 recommendations submitted by the sub-committee.

They said the government should also consider equalisation of procedures now followed for the distribution of salary in government and aided colleges. Arrangements should be made to submit the salary bills of aided college staff to the treasuries concerned.
