The Plantation Corporation of Kerala (PCK) has recorded a profit of Rs.78.75 crore in the last four years, Chairman T.J. Anjalose has said. “Its turnover has increased manifold. Productivity has increased to 103 per cent making it the best-performing public sector company under the Agriculture Department,” he said at a press conference here on Wednesday.

Mr. Anjalose said the corporation was playing a major role in the socio-economic sector.

“During the last four years, the corporation has created over 1,000 vacancies of labourers.” — Staff Reporter
