THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: P.C. Thomas, chairman of the Kerala Congress (J) faction staying on in the Left Democratic Front (LDF), has said he will write to the Speaker to disqualify three MLAs of the other faction that have left the LDF.

At a press conference here on Wednesday, he said P.J. Joseph, Mons Joseph and T.U. Kuruvila, who had left the LDF, had exposed themselves to disqualification as MLAs under the anti-defection law. They had defected from the party that had given them tickets to contest the elections.

He said it was a joke that they should seek the disqualification of V. Surendran Pillai, MLA, who was solidly with the party that had given him ticket to contest the elections.
