PATHANAMTHITTA: The annual festival at the famous Christian pilgrim centre of St. Paul’s and St. Peter’s Church that houses the tomb of St. Gregorios on the banks of the Pampa at Parumala, in Thiruvalla taluk, will be held from October 26 to November 3. The ‘kodiyettu’ ceremony which marks the beginning of the week-long festival will be held on the church premises on October 26.

The Metropolitan of the Niranom diocese of the church, Youhanon Mar Chrysostomos, will inaugurate the youth meet in the afternoon.

A tri-mass led by Thomas Mar Athanaseus Metropolitan will be held at 7.30 a.m. on October 27.

Mar Osthatheos will inaugurate the annual pilgrim week in connection with the 106th feast of St. Gregorios at 9 a.m. on Saturday.

Mar Chrysostomos will preside over the inaugural function. Geevarghese Mar Ivanios Metropolitan will lead the tri-mass at the Parumala Church on October 28.

Bishop-designate Christaphorus Ramban will lead a Holy Eucharist at 9 a.m. on October 29 followed by the holy tri-mass led by Catholicos-designate Paulose Mar Milithios at 7.30 a.m.
