The Kerala Sasthra Sahithya Parishad will hold its golden jubilee celebrations in the city, where it was born 50 years ago, in May, a spokesman said on Thursday.
A series of seminars, in continuation of the Parishad’s ongoing campaign for a new Kerala, will be held in the run-up to the three-day programme. A Kerala development congress and a seminar on the theme “Science for social revolution” would be held.
A meeting has been convened at Nalanda Auditorium here at 5.30 p.m. on Saturday to form an organising committee for the event. K. Ekbal, former Vice- Chancellor of the University of Kerala, will speak on the social relevance of science movements at the meeting.
Parishad president K.T. Radhakrishnan and general secretary T.K. Devarajan will be present.
