The committee has learnt that the Association of Private Nursing Colleges issued an advertisement in a daily inviting applications for its entrance test. "The Association's decision to hold its own exam is invalid and against the directives given by the Admission Supervisory Committee," the committee manager said in a press release here on Monday.

The press release said that the rank lists prepared on the basis of the entrance test conducted by the association would be invalid.

Meanwhile, Education Minister M. A. Baby said here on Monday that the Government would take a decision on the admission to private nursing colleges based on the recommendations of the committee.
