THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala Coir Commission headed by Anathalavattam Anandan, MLA, has recommended revision of the minimum wages of employees of the coir cooperatives to Rs.3,000. The commission which submitted its report to Cooperation Minister G. Sudhakaran wanted pension and gratuity schemes to be extended to these sections. The project report of the factory to be set up in Alappuzha for making the machinery required by the coir industry was also submitted to the Minister. — Special Correspondent
