Kozhikode: Jishnu P. Raj (MGM Higher Secondary School, Njalikuzhi, Vakathanam, Kottayam) has won the K.P. Antony Master Memorial gold medal for the best picture, in the all-Kerala painting contest by the Universal Arts School of Fine Arts here on February 10.

T.V. Lija (A.V. Smaraka Government Higher Secondary School, Karivallur, Payyannur) won the Malayala Manorama gold medal for the best female child artist and S. Siddarth (Silver Hills Public School, Kozhikode), the Mathrubhumi gold medal for the best male child artist.

Amaldev Nambiar (S.N. Vidya Mandir, Thalap, Kannur) is the winner of the G.N. Pillai gold medal for the painting conveying a social message.

Silver Hills High School, Kozhikode, won the Sudarshan ever-rolling trophy for the school presenting the maximum number of students in the contest. The second prize went to St. Mary’s English Medium Lower Primary School, Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram. Consolation prizes would also be given at a programme to be held at Nalanda Auditorium here on April 5, the organisers said.
