A two-day overseas Malayali global meet will begin at Mumbai on June 19.

The event is being organised by the Indo-Arab Confederation Council in association with organisations of non-resident Keralites. Several papers will be presented at the conference.

The meeting will honour T.A. Khalid by presenting him the Global Excellence award instituted by the confederation. Around 500 delegates are expected to attend the sessions, the organisers said.

The overseas Malayali meet of 2010 was held in Kozhikode. The council is a socio-cultural organisation, working for the last 20 years.
