THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Government has sanctioned Rs.one crore for the completion in a time bound manner of various public works in the Thiruvananthapuram West Assembly constituency, a press note issued by V. Surendran Pillai, MLA, said here.

This fund is for works including the construction of drainage facilities at Samadhanam junction in the Manikkavilakom ward, at the Priyadarsini Nagar inside the Bangladesh colony and near the CSI church at Muttathara ward, the laying of a slab across the Thekknamkara canal at Nandini gardens, setting up a drainage facility at Swathi Nagar, Kothalam road, the raising of the road at Parambil lane, construction of a building at the Government Karthika Thirunal VHSS, the construction of a portion of side wall for the Amayinzhanchan canal at Sreekanteswaram, resurfacing of the road and the construction of a drainage channel at Juma Masjid road at Vallakkadavu and for the construction of a building for the Federation of the Blind.
