Daily commuters on the Thrissur-Kannur passenger celebrated Onam on the train on Thursday in a programme titled “Trainil Oru Onam”.
Under the banner of their organisation, Trainmates, they laid “pookalam”, distributed sweets and sang Onam songs.
Trainmates was formed in June 2005 with five members.
