THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Thiruvananthapuram-based Puthumana Thanthravidyalayam has taken exception to the NSS stance against the appointment of non-Brahmins as temple priests.

Maheswaran Namboodiri, head of the institution, said in a statement here on Tuesday that the NSS stand would only serve to turn the Hindus against one another by reviving casteism and untouchability.
