Says society will stand firm with him in his fight for justice
The Nair Service Society (NSS) has extended all support to R. Sreedharan Nair of Mallelil house in Konni, who is a complainant in the solar-panel cheating case, in the backdrop of the threats faced by him from certain quarters.
A statement issued by the NSS taluk union here on Sunday said that the union meeting held on Saturday had expressed deep concern over certain undesirable developments in connection with the solar-panel cheating case filed by Mr. Nair.
The NSS statement had strongly condemned the alleged attempts of character assassination and threatening remarks against Mr. Nair by certain quarters as he had initiated legal proceedings against those who had cheated him.
“It is sad that those who are supposed to protect Mr. Nair were threatening him for seeking legal action against those who have cheated him,” the statement alleged.
The NSS statement further said that Mr. Nair was a gentleman who worked hard and led a pious life. Mr. Nair was a former president of the NSS Karayogam in Konni-Attachakal and former principal of the NSS Industrial Training Centre at Konni.
The society would stand firm with him in his fight for justice, it stated.
C.N. Somanathan Nair, NSS taluk union president, presided over the meeting. N. Mohan, E.G. Sukumaran Nair, K.V. Sunilkumar, B. Balachandran Nair, K. Haridas, Kamalasanan Karyat, and P. Sivakumar, committee members, were among those who attended the meeting.
