KOCHI: The Admission Supervisory Committee for Professional Colleges has asked 22 students who got admission to various medical colleges affiliated to the Kerala Christian Professional College Management Federation to explain why their admission should not be cancelled for violation of admission norms. The committee on Monday issued notices to these students after a sitting here. They should appear before the committee on November 22, said a committee spokesperson. The committee observed that the students were asked to submit an explanation after the managements refused to furnish their reply on the alleged irregularities in the admission process.
The students had got admission in colleges including Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church Medical College, Kolencherry; Pushpagiri Medical College, Thiruvalla; Amala Institute of Medical Sciences; and Jubilee Mission Medical College, Thrissur.
