The Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Akademi has refuted allegations of irregularities in the selection of entries for a competition to decide the 2011 State Professional Drama Awards. In a press release issued here on Tuesday, the Akademi said there was no irregularity in the selection of plays by a five-member jury. “The Akademi stands by the jury's stance that its decisions have been impartial and free of any external influence. The members of the jury have displayed admirable sense of responsibility and honesty,” the release added.
