The winter schedule of Air India Express (AIE) became operational from October 30. The frequency of flights which were reinstated in September continues in the winter schedule too.

A press release from Air India Express said although a few services had to be cancelled early in September because of shortage of cabin crew, many of these were restored within a week as instructed by Chief Managing Director of Air India Arvind Jadhav. They would continue till the end of the winter schedule.

The release said this clarification was being issued in response to reports in a section of the media which created the impression among passengers there had been mass cancellations of services. All passengers booked on Air India Express flights have been requested to report at the scheduled time at the airport.
