The CITU-led All Kerala Newspaper Agents and Distributors Association (AKNADA) has decided not to join the proposed strike by newspaper agents beginning March 20.

The AKNADA State committee, which met here on Friday, decided unanimously to stay away from the strike even as they pursued their demands including implementation of welfare fund and pension for agents, enhancement of commission, non-imposition of additional papers and supplements on agents and payment of rational commission for ‘double' papers and collation of supplements. Association working president M. Sivakumar chaired the meeting and general secretary V. Vinod presented the report, according to a press release issued here on Saturday.
