: Of the 61,042 candidates who appeared for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test - UG, 2013 (NEET-UG) from the State, 46,049 students qualified the test, the results of which were declared by the Central Board of Secondary Education on Wednesday. The candidates can access the results onwww.cbseneet.nic.in,www.cbse.nic.inandwww.cbseresults.nic.in.

The results of NEET-UG, 2013 have been declared on the basis of the qualifying criteria prescribed by the Medical Council of India and Dental Council of India. The qualified candidates have to complete formalities with the respective counselling authorities such as the DGHS, Medical Education Directorates of States, AFMC, Institutions and Universities for admission to MBBS and BDS courses. Candidates are advised to be in touch with the respective counselling authorities and institutions for further details, a release posted on the website said.

Among the registered candidates,,a total of 7,17,127 were eligible to appear in the NEET-UG, out of which 6,58,040 candidates appeared in the test and 3,66,317 candidates qualified the test. The test was conducted at 1,251 centres located in 85 cities all over India and abroad, the release said.
