KOZHIKODE: The National Development Front (NDF) has decided to organise protest marches to the main office of Public Service Commission (PSC) in Thiruvananthapuram and PSC offices in districts on June 28. This is to protest against the reported moves being made by the PSC to amend rules that were made by the UDF Government to ensure continuance of reservation benefits to backward communities. NDF leadership has alleged it was not within PSC's powers to make changes in Government rules. It had powers only make changes in its recruiting manual in line with changes in rules made by the Government.

NDF's plans to organise protest marches on June 28 were decided at a recent meeting of its "supreme council."
