Navy Fest declared open

Navy Fest, the annual fair associated with Navy Day celebrations, was inaugurated by Vice-Admiral Satish Soni, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Southern Naval Command, at the Naval Base here on Thursday.

The fair, which will draw to a close on Sunday, will be open to the public between 10 a.m. and 9 p.m. India’s latest stealth frigate INS Sahyadri, patrol vessel INS Sharda, training ship INS Sujata and diving support vessel INS Nireekshak will receive visitors from 10 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.
