Thirteen Navy officers and a Coast Guard officer graduated from the Naval Institute of Aeronautical Technology (NIAT) at the Naval Base on Friday after completing a 52-week aeronautical specialisation course.

The officers will now join frontline air squadrons of the Navy and the Coast Guard for six months’ on-job training, which will qualify them for M.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering offered by the Cochin University of Science and Technology (Cusat).

Surgeon Rear Admiral John D’Souza, Command Medical Officer of Southern Naval Command, reviewed the passing out parade.
