KALPETTA: Nallathampi Thera, a social activist and a doctor, has offered to contest the coming Lok Sabha election from the newly constituted Wayanad Parliamentary constituency with the support of the Communist Party of India (CPI).

Dr. Nallathampi Thera told The Hindu on Tuesday that he had conveyed his intention to the State and Central committees and CPI leaders had promised to consider the matter favourably.
