Thiruvananthapuram: The Coordination Committee of Muslim Organisations, protesting against the controversial Class VII social science textbook, has decided to stage an Assembly march on July 21, demanding its withdrawal.

The decision to this effect was taken at a meeting of the coordination committee here.

At a press conference here, P.K. Kunhalikutty, Indian Union Muslim League leader, and the leaders of 13 member organisations alleged that the government was trying to wriggle out of the current situation by withdrawing one of the chapters in the textbook.
