A Division Bench of the Kerala High Court on Tuesday disposed of a petition complaining about police harassment filed by the mother of Biju Radhakrishnan, an accused in the solar scam case, in view of a submission by the State government that her son had been rounded up in connection with a murder case.

The Bench comprising Chief Justice Manjula Chellur and Justice K.Vinod Chandran disposed of the petition after recording the submission of Additional Advocate-General P.C. Iype.

He submitted that they would seek the assistance of the petitioner in case they needed any help. If they wanted more information, they would either summon her or approach her.

When the case was taken up for hearing, the petitioner, Rajamma, or her counsel did not appear before the court.

She claimed in her petition that she was being harassed by the police.
