The Kerala High Court on Tuesday set aside a Justice P.A. Mohammed Committee order and directed the Kerala Christian Professional College Management Federation to continue procedures for admission to the MBBS course offered by the four medical colleges affiliated to it in accordance with the prospectus prepared by it.

The validity of admission, however, would depend on the final verdict of the court.

Tuesday's interim order was passed by Justice C.K. Abdul Rahim on a petition filed by the federation challenging the Mohammed committee's refusal of sanction to the prospectus for admission to the MBBS course in these colleges.

The court, however, annulled a clause in the prospectus stipulating candidates with a minimum of 50 per cent marks in the qualifying examination as eligible to appear for the entrance exam. The clause had earlier been struck down by the Mohammed committee. The case would be heard in detail on May 25.
