Revenue Minister Adoor Prakash released the ‘Advanced Manual for Senior Civil Police Officers’ written by A. Nasim, Deputy Superintendent of Police, at a function here on Saturday.
Addressing the function, the Minister said the manual would be of great help to the police personnel and for the future generation.
He said the book provided useful information and guidance to the police personnel on various scientific investigation methods.
The Minister released the book by handing over the first copy to H. Salimraj, Additional District Magistrate.
Salim Kambisserry, the former Deputy Director of Prosecution, presided. Pazhakulam Madhu, chairman, district panchayat education standing committee; Putta Vimaladitya, Superintendent of Police; R. Chandrashekharan, Deputy Superintendent of Police; M.A. Abdul Rahim, president and G. Sunnykutty, district secretary, Kerala Police Association; Mr Nasim; and Babu Raiban, managing director, Raiban Publications, spoke.
This is the fifth book authored by Mr. Nasim for police personnel. His earlier publications are Police Digest, Police Jurisprudence, Protocol of Investigation, and Manual for Civil Police Officers.
