The police registered a case against two migrant workers for heckling foreign tourists at the beach here on Friday night. The accused were identified as Muhammad Irfan (34) and Sabrar Ali (24) from Uttar Pradesh, who have been working as labourers at a private firm in Mannancherry near here. The incident took place around 7.30 p.m. at the beach when both were in an inebriated condition. They used abusive language against the tourists. Locals alerted the police who took them into custody. However, the tourists did not lodge any complaint. They were released on bail on Saturday.
