Nedumbassery: State tourism director Sivasankar will inaugurate a one-day seminar on the ‘Best business practices, opportunities and challenges in travel, tourism, hospitality and health care industries’ to be held here at the Cochin airport on Thursday.

The Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL) managing director C.G. Krishnadas Nair and the Kerala Management Association (KMA) president Jayathilakan will also speak in the inaugural session of the event, organised by CIAL in association with the KMA. The seminar will have sessions on travel and tourism and health care tourism and will focus on surmounting the inherent challenges in the industry.

The session on travel and tourism, to be chaired by the former CEO of Kerala Travel Mart will deliberate on the concepts of experimental holidaying, outbound tourism and adventure tourism etc. Managing Director of KSIDC Alkesh Sharma will deliver the valedictory address and the airport director A.C.K.Nair will offer felicitattions.
