A medical college hospital will be set up at Badiyadukka in the district, Health Minister Adoor Prakash said here on Friday.

Talking to mediapersons after a review meeting at the Collectorate here, Mr. Prakash said the government planned to set up four such institutions in the State. The institution would be of help to those suffering from ailments caused due to the aerial spraying of endosulfan, he said. The government had identified 50 acres of revenue land at Ukkinadkka. Special Officer K.G.R. Pillai had submitted a report after verifying the land, the Minister said.
